this new "GREAT VALUE" heart rate monitor has a heart rate zone alarm with a
good memory recall (average heart rate, max HR and min HR), time of day and
stopwatch and countdown alarm (that will auto repeat fro intervals). A very
useful function of this monitor is the scan facility which "scrolls" through
maximum, average and minimum heart rate per session. The Impulse 12 has 3 more
functions than the Impulse 9. These are Heart Rate recovery timer, calories
burnt and "time in zone"
